The role you’ll contribute:
The Centralized Scheduler is responsible for scheduling outpatient procedures and ensuring correct pertinent information is obtained. This position requires medical terminology, excellent phone skills, typing 35 wpm and excellent customer service skills. Working knowledge of physician practice and a good understanding of radiology procedures, chemotherapy and oncology scheduling experience is strongly preferred.

·Responsible for scheduling outpatient procedures and ensuring correct pertinent information is obtained.
·Scheduling patients for Outpatient Chemotherapy, Radiology, Cardiology and other hospital procedures as needed by the Oncology practices
·Collecting and verifying demographic, insurance and relevant clinical information
·Verifying accuracy of order and scanning into medical record
·Calling patients to complete appointment scheduling
·Demonstrate and promote high standards for quality and productivity
·Work collaboratively with Cancer Center team members to ensure a positive patient experience
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
·High School Diploma or Equivalent
·2 Years of Position-Related Experience
Preferred qualifications:
·Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA Preferred OR
·LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Kansas Preferred OR
·Licensed Radiologic Technologist Kansas
