Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Hematology Oncology
Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hematology Oncology team. This is a Monday - Friday, outpatient and inpatient position based at Riverview Medical Center, Jersey Shore University Medical Center and Ocean University Medical Center.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing
- Masters Degree
- Maintains clinical competencies through participating in continuing educational programs (contact hours per years), and clinical practice as mandated by Board of Nursing and national certification body.
- Experience in relevant patient care setting or as regulations dictate
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- Masters Prepared Advanced Practice Nurse
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience.
- Strong organizational and computer skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Emotional intelligence, critical thinking and effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities
- Valid Drivers license
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
- Advanced Practice Nurse Cetification (w/ Masters Degree).
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
License and Certifications Preferred:
- CPR certification
