Registered Nurse – Oncology MaineHealth Waldo Hospital Belfast, ME Full Time and Part Time
For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible experienced Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!
Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
MaineHealth is seeking Registered Nurses to join their Oncology unit at Waldo Hospital in Belfast. We have full and part time positions available.
Available Positions:
Registered Nurse – Infusion Therapy – Oncology (full time and part time)
Registered Nurse – Patient Navigator Oncology
Qualifications:
Infusion Therapy
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification required within 3 months of start date. Oncology Nurse Certification (OCN) preferred, or must obtain within 3 years of start date.
Experience: Three years of relevant acute clinical experience required with one year oncology experience preferred.
Additional Skills/Requirements: May be needed to work at both Waldo and Pen Bay Cancer Care departments.
Patient Navigator Oncology
Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required. Bachelor’s Degree may be required.
License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Oncology Certification (OCN) or defined process for receiving certification required.
Experience: Experience working in a medical setting and interacting collaboratively with medical teams required. Experience working with oncology patients and families preferred. Experience in community outreach preferred.
