The role you’ll contribute:

The Therapeutic Medical Physicist participates in the quality care of our patients by providing medical physics services at or above the State of Florida and Federal requirements as well as meeting a any national standards of care in radiation oncology. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful of all. 

The value you’ll bring to the team:

·  Actively directs the linear accelerator maintenance program through the service engineers.

·  Actively participates and oversees all aspects of the information technology program related to radiation oncology.

·  Actively participates in developing new programs and technologies such as information management, treatment planning and new modalities.

·  Actively participates in remodeling of existing sites, developing and evaluating shielding designs, clinical treatment programs and technologies.

·  Assists in physics coverage of other Florida Hospital Radiation Oncology locations as directed by Chief Therapy Physicist.

·  Assists the Administrative and Medical Director in development and implementation of all aspects of the clinical quality management program.

·  Assists the Administrative and Medical Director in maintaining an efficient and effective clinical operation. 

 

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:  

·  Minimum of three years of clinical radiation therapy physics experience

·  Current active State of Florida license as a Therapeutic Medical Physicist
