The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at MetroHealth Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University is seeking applications for a Womens Health Nurse Practitioner to join 9 other APPs, 5 Certified Nurse Midwives and our 24-member OBGYN Generalist Division. In addition to our superb Generalist team, we have full scope OBGYN subspeciality care through our Divisions of Gynecologic Oncology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, Minimally Invasive Surgery and Reproductive Endocrine and Infertility. We have 20 OBGYN Residents and two
Fellowships in MFM and Urogynecology. We provide superb and comprehensive care at 17 different sites across Cleveland, Ohio
Summary:
Delivers direct patient care consistent with the advanced practice registered nurse’s education, experience and certification, in collaboration with a physician, which includes diagnosis, management and/or referral of health care issues. Promotes consumer, family, and community health through preventative health care actions and through patient advocacy. The APN will have working knowledge of care for women across the lifespan, with responsibilities include routine gynecologic care, prenatal care and postpartum care. The advanced practice registered nurse may also manage complex illnesses and/or deliver specialty care in collaboration with an OB/GYN provider.
Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program
One year of advanced practice experience
Women’s Health nursing experience
Active, unrestricted Ohio APN license
