The Data Coordinator is responsible for accurately annotating radiology image reports to support a cancer recurrence study. This work involves applying pre-defined guidelines to identify cancer recurrence cases to support Artificial Intelligence (AI) model development. This position will reports to and works under close supervision of the Principal Investigator or lead analyst.
Responsibilities
- Annotates radiology image reports by applying predefined criteria to identify cancer recurrence cases.
- Flag imaging reports with annotation label and highlight the patterns for further review by clinical experts.
- Maintain detailed records of annotated data and contribute to the development of annotation documentation.
- Generate reports and support preparations of manuscripts based on annotation procedures.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School graduation or the equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of college.
- One year of experience in medical records, cancer registry, or related field.
- Strong computer skills and experience working with data bases.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and statistics preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A background in Radiology, Biology, Biomedical Sciences or related areas is preferred.
- Clinical experience is a plus.
- Critical thinking skills are required.
- Must be flexible and able to work well in a team environment.
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $24.02 to $34.19 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center offers employees access to a retirement savings plan, an employee assistance program, paid sick leave (1 hour for every 30 hours worked), and prorated paid holidays (up to 11 days per year).
