We are looking for exceptional nurses to provide clinical radiation oncology care in an ambulatory setting. Individuals will be responsible for the ongoing assessment of assigned patients and, in conjunction with other health care providers, will assist in developing a comprehensive plan of care for patients. RN Case Managers will work closely with physicians on a day-to-day basis and collaborate with other members of the health care team to insure the patient’s needs are met in a timely fashion. Positions are primarily day time hours, but some evening rotation may be required on rare occasions.

Qualified candidates should have excellent communication and critical thinking skills along with self-initiative and above average organizational skills.  Ability to work effectively with a diverse staff and patient population is required. Must possess solid clinical assessment skills and have ability to  develop, implement, evaluate, and modify a plan of care.  Prior nursing experience in ambulatory health care, oncology, and case management strongly preferred. Associate degree or diploma in nursing required; BSN preferred. Must have current, valid Florida RN license in good standing and be certified in BLS.

When we opened our doors in August 2006, proton therapy was a new cancer treatment to the Southeast United States.
