We are seeking a patient focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hospitalist team at Methodist Hospital and University Hosptial! This position will focus on Preoperative Medicine at our Adult Academic Health Center. 

Position Details:

• Full-time, day Shift
  • 4 10's a week
  • Monday-Friday (Tuesdays off)
• No weekends, holidays or call
• 100% inpatient
• Complex adult patient population: Complex patient population in two downtown clinics; preoperative evaluation and medical co-management with patients undergoing orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, urology, peripheral vascular surgery, general surgery, GYN, hepatobiliary surgery, ENT, etc
• 25-28 admissions / week
• Team includes 5+ physicians and 7+ APPs

Qualifications:

• ACNP, AGNP, FNP or PA certifications required
• If new graduate NP, RN inpatient PCU/critical care experience required
• If new graduate PA, hospital medicine clinical rotation required
• 1-2 years of APP experience highly preferred
