Are you looking for greater autonomy evaluating and managing acute issues in an outpatient clinic supporting oncology patients?
ChristianaCare is currently hiring for a highly motivated, self-directed Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to join the oncology services team in the Oncology Express Unit (OEU) located within the Helen F Graham Cancer Center Building. The OEU is an award-winning clinic for oncology patients with urgent and acute issues that require immediate evaluation to prevent avoidable Emergency Department visits. The ideal candidate for this role is an enthusiastic APC with 3+ years' experience in urgent/emergent evaluation and management of complex medical issues. There is on-site laboratory and radiology support, and capacity to provide blood transfusions, hydration, electrolyte replacement and several other treatments that may be required after initial evaluation. Medical oversight provided by primary oncology physicians.
The clinic supports patients from all oncology practices including surgical oncology practices and subspecialties and medical/hematology practices.
Includes Monday through Friday shifts with flexible evening hours on occasion. There is no call associated with this position.

Requirements:
- Licensed or eligible for Physician Assistant license in the state of Delaware or Certification as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP), or certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP or ACNP) or certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) who demonstrates eligibility for and the intent to, sit for the ENP exam within one year of hire date
- ACLS
- Oncology experience or Emergency Department experience required.
- 3+ years' experience as a provider
