This role will be instrumental in the opening of our new cancer center in 2026, which will feature significantly expanded infusion capacity.
As a key member of the cancer center leadership team, you will oversee the nursing and administrative operations of the Cancer Center Infusion area. This includes comprehensive staff management, budgeting, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care for adult and pediatric patients.
You'll be expected to take the initiative in all functions related to hiring, staffing, and performance management for both nursing and non-nursing team members. Your responsibilities will also include monitoring activities that impact patients and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective care. In anticipation of our new facility, you’ll play a crucial role in developing our ambulatory infusion services. You will collaborate closely with the Assistant Nursing Director to build high nurse retention, engagement, and motivation.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Texas State Board of Nursing license
* BSN
* 3+ years of nursing experience that includes 2+ years in an ambulatory infusion setting, preferred
* BLS certification
* ONS certification within 24 months of hire
* Ability to collaborate with physicians, management, clinical leaders and staff in the promotion of high-quality nursing care
* Demonstrated knowledge of chemotherapy protocols and therapies
* Strong management and interpersonal skills
