Patient Population: All ages, acuities, and stages of life. Direct patient care and documentation of patients presenting to ED with variety of complaints, triage, main sections with higher acuity, Express care/fast track with lower acuity/clinic type patients. Staff rotate to various areas based on experience and training.

Department Specifics: Currently seeking Level three Trauma designation, Primary Stroke Center, Primary Chest Pain Center, wonderful EMS partnership, Radiology with CT and Sono within ED, Self-Scheduling with voluntary on call, Certified Emergency Nurse fees paid, Evidence Based Practice and Process Improvement projects ongoing, Trauma training, Express Care/fast track with lower acuity/clinic type patients, Staff rotate to various areas based on experience and training.

Registered Nurse Requirements
Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
· License/Certification
o RN - Registered Nurse
o BLS - Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
o ENPC AND TNCC

- CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -
Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
Qualifications
- A degree from a recognized nursing program or two years of relevant work experience
- A minimum of (1) one year's experience in the field of nursing
- A valid Registered Nurse license
- The ability to obtain a Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days of employment.
