We’re looking for a compassionate, motivated RN to join our nonprofit agency.
Cancer Support Team is a licensed non-profit agency that assists anyone with a cancer diagnosis - at no cost - who lives in Westchester, NY. Our team of registered nurses, case managers and social workers help patients and their families cope with the cancer experience by giving them the information they need to find the best possible healthcare, treatment, resources, and social services.
For 47 years, we have worked one-on-one with patients in their home or in a community setting teaching and advocating for them.
We have an opening for a full-time RN to assist with New Patient Referrals
Requirements:
RN License from NY State (Required)
Valid Driver’s License and Car (Required)
Spanish-speaking (Strongly Preferred)
Oncology experience (Preferred)
Med/Surg Experience 2 years or
Community Nursing and/or Home Care Experience 2 Years
Cancer Support Team is a nonprofit agency offering services to patients and caregivers in southern Westchester, NY at NO COST. Our registered nurses visit with patients at home, educating, counseling, finding referrals, and acting as an advocate. In addition to assisting with symptom and pain management, our nurses also make sure the family understands what is taking place and work to make the cancer journey and easier one.CST also has case management and social work counseling services as well.
