Responsible for supporting all aspects of the UKG Dimensions cloud application in support of business operations. Provides technical application support, troubleshooting, systems change management, and training of users. Leads design, testing, process development, and end-to-end configuration. Serves as the primary technical expert for the UKG system and leads configuration. Supports the Application Manager in preparing data for business proposals related to application functionality and changes. Provides systems support for other business applications (PeopleSoft, Concur, Censeo, Blackline etc.).
Responsibilities
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:
- Collaborate with operational end-users and project stakeholders to collect and interpret business requirements, write functional specifications, identify possible system enhancements, document needs, find alternatives and determine functionality to meet those requirements.
- Designs system configuration builds and tests system functionality, leading all testing efforts to ensure release deadlines are met and the system functions as intended.
- Responsible for developing and running test scripts related to specific areas for validating changes to the system, including the development of appropriate test conditions, and validating results.
- Provide functional services by acting as subject matter expert and providing input on best practices, options, risks, and impacts to other processes and systems.
- Manages application functionality including identifying and performing appropriate audits, supports payroll processing, and performs regular system maintenance.
- Identifies and helps to implement workarounds for gaps between business needs and system capabilities.
- Provide technical support, responding to, and resolving day to day production issues in a timely manner, troubleshoots solutions, escalating when needed to the Applications Manager and working with the vendor's technical team to resolve; serves as the technical point of contact.
- Identifies improvements to current system configuration, including determining the root causes of problems and solutions designed to eliminate manual work.
- Manages and opens tickets with vendor on technical issues.
- Responsible for all system documentation including documented requirements and configuration guides.
- Collaborates with other departments in support of the system, such as Human Resources, Facilities, Finance, Education/Learning Management (LMS), etc.
- Serves as a subject matter expert on clinic staff scheduling, maintaining an active knowledge of staff scheduling practices across the clinic.
- Manages assignments of training based on user type. Creates and updates training materials as needed.
- Provides training to end-users from all levels of the organization via self-service job aids, assigned LMS trainings, and live virtual sessions.
- Remains up to date on future UKG enhancements and opportunities for Fred Hutch to fully benefit from service offerings.
- Work in partnership with - UKG consultants and internal teams to leverage the application to maximum potential and efficiency.
- Help implement new processes, create reports., and oversee communications and change management activities related to implementation of new processes.
- Facilitate design discussions regarding implementations and upgrades.
- Meet deadlines and exceed goals in high-pressure situations.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business, or another related field plus 2 years of relevant experience OR 5 years of equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience gathering and documenting requirements for system configuration.
- Minimum 1 year of systems or business analysis experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with Time and Attendance and/or Scheduling systems.
- Strong UKG Dimensions knowledge and configuration expertise.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
- High degree of organization focused on continual documentation of processes and information, ensuring the continuation of knowledge and support of the system.
- Ability to quickly learn system processes and understand system dependencies.
- Experience in gathering requirements, conducting fit/gap sessions, performing system configuration, and documenting business processes.
- Experience troubleshooting application functionality.
- Experience training end users on new technical systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to help end-users through difficult learning processes.
- Basic understanding of configuration options, workflow methodologies, and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Strong meeting facilitation and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams
Preferred:
- 1 year of supporting an ERP, FMS, HRIS, or SCM application.
- Experience in full application lifecycle management (e.g., implementation, maintenance, upgrades).
- Application support in a healthcare and/or medical or scientific research environment.
- Understanding of and experience with PeopleSoft, Concur, Censeo, Contracts+, Smartsheet and/or Lightspeed.
- Functional accounting and/or payroll knowledge.
- Experience with clinical staff scheduling.
- Experience working with integrated systems such as PeopleSoft FMS, Kronos, Workday, Censeo (SCM), Concur, Blackline or integrations from Epic.
- Advanced training in system configuration.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in writing SQL queries, data analysis, and validation.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $95,888.00 to $143,811.20 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
