IU Health Arnett has an exciting career opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to join its collaborative Oncology team. The practice is located in the beautiful college town of Lafayette (home of Big Ten member Purdue University).

95% Outpatient / 5% Inpatient
Collaborating physicians on site
Experienced candidates preferred (AOCN and/or OCN certification ideal), however having experience with Oncology patients either in training or prior experience is acceptable.
Formal orientation in place with our Hematology Oncology department chairman as the onsite mentor
Patient population: Oncology and Hematology adult patients
Practice Location: Primarily at IU Health Arnett Cancer Care (420 North 26th St, Lafayette, IN 47904).
Competitive compensation package (PTO, 401K, Medical/ Dental/ Vision Insurance, etc.
Key responsibilities:
Co-manage patients first chemotherapy/immunotherapy treatment, follow up visits and urgent visits.
Provide education to patients for chemo, biotherapy, and any infusion service.
Staff education and development
Covering Inpatient rounding for established Oncology patients when your in-patient colleague is out of office
