IU Health Medical Group-South Region is hiring! We are looking for an Advanced Practice Provider Team Lead to lead our Medicine Specialties division. This includes Nephrology, Palliative Care, Hospice, Oncology, Vascular
Position Details and Qualifiations:
- 10% administrative time (protected time)- appox. 4-6 hours/week
- Must be board certified
- Must have 2 years' experience as an APP
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for APPs in your specialty or location.
- Coordinate daily operations to ensure appropriate coverage and patient care.
- Review and monitor quality, productivity, and documentation compliance reports.
- Communicate important updates from leadership to the APP team.
- Identify operational or clinical concerns and escalate as appropriate.
- Assist in onboarding, orientation, and mentorship of new APPs.
- Lead regular team huddles, meetings, and check-ins to maintain alignment.
- Support recruitment efforts by participating in interviews and candidate evaluations.
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment.

The new IU Health Bloomington Hospital and Regional Academic Health Center opened in December 2021.
