SummaryThe Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) practices in the Hematology/Oncology Service to provide a full range of services emphasizing quality - timeliness - and the advancement of the Veterans Affairs (VA) mission. This certified NP will be the sole hematology/oncology provider at the Huntsville - AL VA location and will collaborate with the hematology/oncology physicians at the Birmingham VA Medical Center as well as National Tele-oncology physicians to manage patients.DutiesDuties include but not limited to: Independently manages a panel of patients with acute and chronic health conditions with an emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention using evidence-based practiceDevelops
