The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (Fred Hutch), the University of Washington (UW) and Seattle Children’s Hospital (SCH) are jointly recruiting a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level without tenure due to funding (WOT), commensurate with experience and qualifications in the Clinical Research Division of the Fred Hutch and the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation, Department of Pediatrics at the UW. The primary appointment will be in the Clinical Research Division of Fred Hutch. Academic appointment at the University of Washington will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and academic rank. University of Washington assistant professors WOT are eligible for multi-year appointments and associate professors WOT hold indefinite appointments that both align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.
The selected individual for the advertised position is expected to contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding clinical care and developing excellence in clinical research related to the field of pediatric hematopoietic cell transplantation. Specifically, we are seeking individuals for this position who will have clinical and research efforts primarily focused on transplantation for malignant conditions, immunotherapy, or other relevant areas of pediatric transplantation. Fred Hutch and University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service.
