Position Summary
Seeking an experienced clinical RN with at least 5 years of direct bedside experience in Neuro Renal Transplant to work alongside Bedside nurses on our specialty unit CA8. This role is day shift, Monday-Friday 7:30m-3:30pm. Must have BSN or graduate level degree. Must have a national certification or open to attaining one within 6 months. Examples include: CCRN: Certified Critical Care Nurse, CMSRN: Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse, CEN: Certified Emergency Nurse, CPN: Certified Pediatric Nurse, CNRN: Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse, ONC: Certified Orthopedic Nurse, OCN: Oncology Certified Nurse, CNOR: Certified Perioperative Nurse. The incumbent will need to have a strong clinical skill set in specialty, change agent mentality, and passion for quality and safety. Strong clinical experience along with education, collaboration and quality/safety work is required. The Clinical Nurse Attending assumes accountability for patient-care outcomes through the translation of evidence-based information to design, implement, and evaluate patient-care processes and models of care delivery.
Education
- Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing. (Required)
- Master’s degree in related field (Preferred)
Experience
- Five or more years of related experience in a health care setting. (Required)
Certifications
- Current AZ RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure to Arizona law prior to start date. (Required)
- National certification in area of specialty or related field acquired within the first 6 months of employment. (Required)
- Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association. (Required)
