Indiana University Health Department of Neurology is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider who will work with a team of Neuro-oncologists in a highly collaborative environment including multidisciplinary clinics. The APP will develop expertise in working with primary brain tumors, metastatic nervous system tumors, their treatments, and associated complications.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual ready to work in this rapidly growing subspecialty. On-the-job training and continuous education will be provided for any new partner on our team. We value team players and are looking for committed advanced practitioners to help care for the brain and spinal cord tumor patient population.

Highlights:

• Full-time, Day shift 
  • Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm
  • No night or weekend call
• Role will be primarily outpatient, will a small amount of inpatient responsibilities 
• Practice at IU Health Neuroscience Center (with additional privileges at the Academic Health Center, North & West Hospitals)
• Teaching and research opportunities available

 Qualifications

• Certification as an Advanced Practice Provider
• Experience in performing patient assessments, diagnosing health problems, and developing treatment plans
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge in the area of specialization is preferred but not required
• Ability to provide direct patient care and monitor treatment outcomes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment
• Experience in conducting research and contributing to scholarly activities
• Current knowledge of evidence-based practice guidelines and healthcare regulations
• Commitment to continued professional development and lifelong learning
