The role you’ll contribute:
The Administrator of Oncology Services provides comprehensive administrative and managerial oversight for the cancer service line across all 7 campuses within the AdventHealth East Florida Division. The Administrator is responsible for developing the Division Oncology strategy as well as collaborating with campus leaders and other key stakeholders to support the cancer institute. This role is accountable for program accreditation and the development of relationships with key customers, including campus leaders, affiliates, physicians, and community groups. The Administrator actively participates in delivering outstanding customer service and is committed to maintaining respectful relationships with all stakeholders. Adherence to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and accredited bodies is mandatory.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Administrative and managerial oversight of all aspects of cancer service line across the entire East Florida Division, including radiation oncology, Medical Oncology, oncology social work, physics, dosimetry, clinical trials, translational research, patient navigation for tumor sites, genetic counseling and risk assessment, clinical quality improvement, philanthropy, marketing, continuing medical education, registry, tumor boards, tumor registry, patient support and education, oncology nursing education.
Responsible for fiscal management of cancer service line, including capital, operating and research budgets with system-wide accountability, as well as development and management of grants.
Responsible for strategic planning, physician strategies and recruitment, affiliations, strategic initiatives implementation, quality, and team engagement for the cancer service line.
Matrixes with inpatient oncology nursing units and HCP medical oncology to provide coordinated, seamless oncology service.
Oversees and/or implements business development strategies, new programs and services, new technology, and marketing for cancer service line.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
Master's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration
Five (5) years or more leadership experience at manager level and above
Preferred qualifications:
Five (5) years or more experience overseeing a comprehensive cancer program
Previous experience in management of a multi-site oncology program
Previous experience in cancer program operations
Previous experience in clinical research operations
Previous experience with translational research operations
Grant submission and management experience (NCI, NIH)
Experience in achieving and maintaining cancer program accreditation by the American College of Surgeons
