WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Medical Oncology & Hematology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our busy practice at Franciscan Health Cancer Center located in Munster, IN. The Nurse Practitioner will rotate between our locations at Franciscan Health Munster and Franciscan Health Dyer. The hospitals are state-of-the-art facilities with a great support staff that works well together as a team.
WHAT WE NEED:
Ideal candidate will have 1 - 2 years of hematology-oncology or inpatient setting experience. The candidate will have a focus on clinical excellence and patient experience/satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills with a desire to invest in the community, building long-lasting relationships with patients and their families.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
- Flexible full-time schedule
- Rounding is arranged collaboratively with physician
- Outreach schedule can include Franciscan Health Dyer and Munster locations on a week-by-week basis
- Shared weekend call with physicians
- Average inpatient volume: 5 - 10 patients per day
- Innovative new clinical trials program

- Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) - Required - or
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - Required
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required
